Prior to joining GreenBlue as Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Anika worked for Native Sustainability Creative Consultants, helping Minnesota businesses to authentically advance their sustainability efforts. Anika received her B.A. in Environmental Studies and Sociology from St. Olaf College. She is energized by creativity and collaboration when it comes to climate action, and volunteers as board Co-chair of the Women’s Environmental Network of Minnesota.
She finds purpose in running her art business, Anika Hager Creative, dedicated to supporting local environmental organizations. When she’s not trying to save the world, you can find Anika mountain biking, skiing, painting, and adventuring outdoors with her dog, Isla.
What is your why?
The biodiversity all around us is awe inspiring to me. We are just one small part of a complex planet. I feel driven to do whatever I can to advocate for the environment so that future generations will be able to thrive within it.
